Support parents who are starting out on the special education journey to ensure a comprehensive assessment to initiate support.
Educate.
Educate you on what your and your child’s rights are under special education law to empower you to advocate for your own child.
Review.
Review and interpret your child’s educational records (including evaluations and testing).
Explain.
Explain and suggest services available to your child, based on data collection, evaluation results, and records review.
Work.
Work collaboratively with you and the school (including attending meetings) to develop IEPs or 504s.
Resolve.
Resolve disputes and miscommunication at the IEP table first, and if needed, support you with alternate resolution options.
Fee schedule.
Free Initial Consultation
Complimentary 30 minute consultation between you and Empower You Advocacy to evaluate your child’s educational situation, gain a better understanding of the special education process, and discuss potential next steps.
$500 Initial Retainer
One-time Retainer fee to initiate services. Advocacy fees will be subtracted from the retainer until the retainer is used up.
$150 Hourly
Hourly fee for all advocacy services. Travel time to in-person school or district meetings is billed at the same rate, $150 hourly.
